LWVBC Secretary Pam Raider wrote these words in a November 8 email to League members:I am sad to report that Janet Kramer passed away yesterday morning.  She was active in so many organizations and will leave a huge gap in all our hearts.

I have known Janet for some thirty years as she was my neighbor.  She was President of our League of Women Voters Brown County when I joined.  She would volunteer for all kinds of tabling and activities.  She was especially interested and helpful with voter services.  I always looked forward to the snacks she would make.  She loved all the best things in Brown County:  Friends of Park and Library, gardening clubs, 4H, wildflower foray, biking groups, hiking groups and she kept up on local events.  I will so miss her kind and thoughtful responses and her calm abiding presence.

From LWVBC President Shari Frank:Thank you for your words, Pam, and reminding us how integrated Janet was in everything Brown County.  Janet is one of the first people I met when I came to Brown County 10 years ago, in Mary's Walking Women group.  Then to also have the opportunity to work with her in LWV for these past years has been my good fortune.  An early project together was back when we printed and snail mailed candidate questions for the Democrat newspaper.  Her smile and calm friendship and leadership will be so missed.

From LWVBC member Nancy Crocker:I did not know Janet well, but I always thought she was a sweJanet Krameret, intelligentperson.
